About

I am an undergraduate music student at University of Galway who’s studying to become a secondary school music teacher. I have a passion for music theory which I have averaged First class honours in this module so far in college. Alongside this I received a H1 in leaving cert music achieving 100% in my practical exam. I have helped students with their leaving cert exam in the past giving support in theory and practical exams. Student receive feedback each class and get given a task to work on for the next time. I have several years piano experience and would deem myself for to teach beginner piano lessons. I also have received a grade 8 theory exam with riam and my grade 6 piano exam also. I have a real passion for music including singing, playing and theory. My approach would be to simplify and construct easier approaches to composition questions to guarantee they hit the target points before anything else. I would like to push good habits onto students from the start in order to ensure success in their exams!!
