What we do
GetGrinds.ie is a two-sided marketplace for grinds in Ireland. Students browse verified tutor profiles, book a lesson time, and pay securely in euro. Tutors set their own rates, subjects and availability, and get paid through Stripe Connect.
Built for Irish education
Search and profiles are organised around Irish counties and towns, Irish subjects (including Maths and Irish), and levels such as primary, Junior Cycle, Leaving Certificate, third level and adult learner. Lessons can be online or in person, depending on what the tutor offers.
How trust works
- Tutors complete onboarding and verification before they appear in search.
- Contact details stay private until a booking is confirmed.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. The lesson price is locked in when you book, so a later rate change does not alter that booking.
- Reviews can be left after a completed lesson.
