About

I am an experienced JC Science, LC Biology and Ag Science Teacher. I help students with content and projects in both Biology and Agricultural Science. I have corrected the State Examinations for the last 5 years so I am very familiar with the marking schemes and what examiners look for in your answers. I have provided grinds and helped students who were struggling to pass to exceed their goals as well as helping students to achieve H1s. Some feedback I have received from parents and students: Parent: Ellen was a fantastic help with Biology higher level grinds. Without doubt she helped to increase the understanding of the subject and subsequently was one of the main reasons that the required grade was achieved. All grinds were arranged well in advance and at a time to suit everyone and always done as arranged. If any student needs substantial help or just that extra little push I would have no hesitation in recommending Ellen. Student: The biology grinds I received of Ellen were amazing bringing me from a H8 in the mocks to a H5 in the Lc in the space of just a few weeks before the leaving cert. The PowerPoints shown in the class were excellent highlighting exactly what I need to know to improve my grade in the subject. I would highly recommend these grinds to anyone who wants to see rapid improvements in results! Grinds are conducted online. I provide PDF notes on each topic covered which I email on afterwards. If this sounds like what you are looking for please contact me and we can discuss your needs and goals. Thanks, Ellen.
